John Kerry for President

For the past three years, our economy has stumbled and stumbled again. Our country has lost over three million jobs. Our environmental policy is on its way backward. Our public schools are not being funded adequately and our president has alienated our allies. It's time for a regime change in Washington, D.C. We are at a crucial period in our country's history and it is time to elect a president who can lead effectively and create jobs for the hundreds of thousands of students who are going out into the job market like me and you. The man who can restore the jobs and get our country back on its feet is Senator John Kerry.

John Kerry from Massachusetts has led the Senate for nearly 19 years and in that time has worked to strengthen the economy, improve public schools and fight the social injustices that exist in the country and abroad. John Kerry is a real veteran and knows what it is like to fight in a war and fight against evil. Kerry fought on a gunboat in the Mekong Delta in Vietnam and came home with several medals for his service there.

John Kerry is the only candidate this year that has enough experience, strength and fortitude to lead this country through its best times and its worst times and has a plan to do just that. In the Senate he has been responsible for leading many bills that have allowed kids to have a safe and healthy learning environment in schools. He has been a champion for civil rights regardless of race, gender or sexual orientation. He intends to roll back the tax cuts that Bush gave to the wealthy and allow for the lower and middle class to keep the money and put the extra money into programs that need funding. John Kerry will restore the unity that we had with our allies before the president alienated them. He has a strong plan for protecting our homeland and giving the police, firefighters and first responders the tools and money necessary to keep us safe. John Kerry also believes that it is time to protect our environment and invest in clean and renewable energy so that we can reduce pollution and become more energy independent.

John Kerry has a strong plan for America. He has the most experience and strength out of all the candidates running in this election. He cares about the important issues and confronts the tough questions as many of the other candidates, including President Bush, scoot around them. John Kerry has the fortitude to lead this nation for the next eight years and that is why it is so important that we elect John Kerry as the next President of the United States.
