Need More Attention to Our Civil Liberties
I STILL remain stunned by poor coverage of civil liberties in NH. There is reason to be concerned over these:
Violation of due process, no attorney.Patriot Act invasion of privacy.Repressing dissent; no freedom of speech; censorship.Secret, unlawful detention, incarceration.Torture; Violation of Geneva ConventionProtest zones to isolate critics.Innocent people on "No-Fly" List.Mixing Church and State.Taxpayer funding of religion.Libraries reporting reading habits. Challenging patriotism of questioners.Claims on USA flag and on God.Corporate corruption, dominance, monopoly.Misuse of government money.Taking away women's right to choose.Bigotry dividing America.Amending Constitution to ban gay marriage.Scapegoats, distractions, fake enemies.Militarism as a first response.Puppet leaders abroad.Intimidation tactics; Fear controls America.Control of media.Voting fraud; fraudulent elections.Suppressing workers; No Health Care or Jobs.Disdain for Science, Art, and Intellectual Pursuit.Fouling Environment, Water, Air.
The Sinclair Broadcasting Group, a far right TV group, ORDERED the airing of a 90-minute smear before Nov 2.
Will you still be able to protest these things next year?Vote for Kerry.
