Not Fantasy, but Reality
I will try and be brief, but perfection cannot be limited. I wanted to address two unchallenged articles written in the last two weeks and I guess its time for me, yet again, to give the truth; free of charge.First of all, let me put this out there. Does anybody else notice how the American media cares more about how a few bad apples treat Iraqi prisoners than the burning and hung bodies of American contractors? Why does it seem the American media is more of a tool for terrorism than anything else? How come every time we see recruiting videos for Al Qaeda they have clips from CNN? Think about it; the hatred of Bush is consuming the elites - from the top levels of Congress to the dark socialist depths of college campus professors.Last week an article was written saying how Bush had no exit strategy and that we need to bring our troops home blah blah blah. Wow! Really?! Is that how easy it is? How original! I mean, nobody has thought of that yet! You are so smart! And there will be no consequence to leaving? Well now that's genius! Sad and silly is the reality of that "strategy". Let me put this plainly; our exit strategy is VICTORY. Got it? Now I know liberals can't stand it when America is victorious, hence the endless drumbeat from the liberal media in their attempt to defeat this nation and this administration internally. Our troops will not be coming home any time soon my friends. Heck, we're still in Germany 60 years after World War II and they are a supposed ally. We are there for the long haul people, suck it up. September 11, 2001 changed everything. And I know Iraq had no direct part in 9/11, we all know that, but its governments like Saddam's that foster terrorism. Sure, there are others that do the same; Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia, North Korea. And you know what? They're next. Some will be dealt with economically, some diplomatically, and some yes, militarily. Sadly, force is what the culture of the Middle East understands. With the consistent brainwashing they receive from their governments (like many of you get from anti-American professors) the people we fight (not everybody mind you) in the Middle East do not understand diplomacy and kindness and they see it as a weakness. So grow a spine and buckle down people, because our nation's defense is relying upon the complete overhaul of the Middle East politically. Deal with it. If we don't, I suppose Chicago and LA are the next targets. So if you think we should just leave the Middle East and bring our troops home, enjoy watching people's faces melt on TV with the release of a biological weapon a terrorist organization got from Saddam while we were pussy-footing around with the worthless United Nations for years. There is no strategy but victory, got it?Secondly, I will address Rob Masse's article this past week on Moore's new movie on 9/11. Where is it written that companies HAVE to put a movie out? Moore wasn't stopped from putting the movie together was he? No, a company made a decision not to put the movie out. That is their right! There is no "freedom of speech" or censorship issue here. He was allowed to make a movie and Disney is allowed to say "no" to distribution. He will find another distributor, and life goes on. His movie of unsubstantiated lies and anti-American rhetoric will be out, and America-haters will watch it. Fine.See this is the problem with most liberals. They think if someone says something, then nobody is allowed to say anything against it. I referred to this in a previous write-in when I said, "freedom of speech works both ways". Moore can put his movie out; Disney has NO obligation to distribute it, plain and simple. Stop whining. The do-nothing, Mao loving Moore will make his money on destroying America like he always has and live happily ever after in his oil-heated mansion. One final thought for all to read. George W. Bush will win this election in a landslide. Be ready for a media upchuck. They won't understand why it happened and rest assured; NPR and CNN will not understand why people don't hate America yet. I mean, after all of their efforts! But they will lose yet again. "Flyover" country (the 30 some-odd red states) notices the media conspiracy and anybody with half a brain recognizes what is at stake in the Middle East. We did it the liberal way for decades, treating terrorism like something that happens every now and then. Clinton cared more about being liked by terrorists than protecting this country; that we know. Then 9/11 happened. Now Bush is leading this nation to victory against Islamic-fascism no matter what is said by liberals, Jew-haters, or the let-me-stick-some-metal-in-my-arm-so-I-can-get-a-few-Purple-Hearts-and-go-home-in-four-months-man named John Kerry. So liberals get ready, because the next 4 years are only going to be better for the big picture at no thanks to you. Bush's legacy will be the defense of this nation, the spread of freedom to all people of the world, and victory, while the Clinton/Kerry/liberal legacy of response to terrorism rests in the empty craters of the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Pennsylvania.
---Keith Sheets, Jr 2002 Graduate of PSCOfftopic PS-The unemployment rate just went down again with 867,000 jobs created just this year already. Yet another Clinton-created problem being solved by Bush's policies. Thought I'd let you know.
