Womens Lacrosse Coverage
As a member of the PSU Women's Lacrosse Team and weekly reader of The Clock, I am Frustrated and upset that there has been little to no coverage of our team this spring. I am also disappointed in the lack of advertisements for ALL sporting events that occur during the week or weekends. Student involvement and support could be much higher if games were advertised. My teammates also expressed their anger with your lack of coverage on our team. I understand there is a certain amount of pages you are alloted, this week was 23pages, I believe you can go as high as 33. There is not a lack of news on this campus, i think there is a lack of reporting by your writers. Instead of filling the paper with news we can learn about online or in other national newspapers, use the space for news that will pertain to a Plymouth State student; like that baseball, lacrosse, & softball games, music event, art show, and whatever else is planned on this campus. I have had enough of the pro athlete articles, just because D-Three Sports aren't as exciting to you, they are to many students here on this campus. Just remember where your money to run the paper is coming from...students!!
